Located out of the same offices and sharing support staff with MSK Engineering, Goldstone Architecture provides a full breadth of architectural services along with a team of consultants and other design professionals as selected for each job. With over 25 years’ experience in the practice as an architect, Jeff has experience at all levels of design, management and construction administration and in a full spectrum of project types. He has served as project architect on several major VT state projects, including the Rutland District and Family Courthouse and the State of Vermont Welcome Centers in Sharon and Guilford, as well as university additions, historic renovations, and many single and multi-family residential projects. Recent projects include design and construction administration for the Heritage Family Credit Union Operations Center in Rutland and the Specialized Children’s Services Building and the new Head Start building for The United Counseling Service in Bennington and North Bennington respectively. Since founding Goldstone Architecture in 2002, the firm has concentrated on multi-family projects, work with several not-for-profit institutions and municipalities, as well as work in the private sector.  His responsibilities as a principal and as a project architect have included all phases of design and project administration.

Jeff is Licensed to practice architecture in five states, he received his Master of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University where he was also a teacher in the Department of Architecture. His undergraduate degree in Mathematics was from Oberlin College. He is a recipient of the AIA School Medal for excellence in the study of architecture and was honored with an AIA/AAF scholarship. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board.

Jack has over 20 years of professional experience in the architecture and building construction industry, providing quality and reliable design and construction administration services to many residential, commercial and institutional clients throughout New England and New York. After earning his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from Penn State University and many years of working on construction projects, both in the field as carpenter and laborer, and in the office as designer and draftsmen, Jack obtained his Architect’s license in 2007 and is currently registered to practice architecture in Vermont, New York and Maine.

Prior to joining Goldstone Architecture, Jack worked as Project Architect for Timothy D. Smith & Associates.  Jack had played a key role in many commercial and institutional projects including; the Sharon Information Center and Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Sharon VT.  The multi-phased Geothermal HVAC Conversion and Renovation of the Vermont Veterans Home, Carbone Hyundai-Ford Dual Automobile Dealership, both in Bennington VT, as well as dozens of renovation and restoration projects for Tufts University and the University of Southern Maine.

Jack joined Goldstone Architecture as a Partner in 2016 and has been involved in almost every project the firm produces. He has continued his role as Project Architect for the State of Vermont and the Vermont Veterans Home completing a gut renovation of the facility commercial kitchen and satellite serving stations. Jack has completed many other successful commercial projects with Goldstone Architecture including the new Second Chance Animal Center facility in Arlington VT, and the Bank of Bennington Rutland Branch renovation in Rutland VT. Jack’s dedication to his client’s objectives, commitment to the design vision, and attention to detail are apparent in every project he is involved with.
